This video shows how persecution is coming in the U.S. for those who witness to the Christian faith.  We even had an incident like this here in Colorado Springs.  After preaching at a DMV in town, the police came and told us that we could not do it.  Even at City Hall, when we preached, a police officer told us we could not do it unless we were across the street.

Many open air preachers nowadays(in the U.S.!) are always videotaping themselves to be able to defend themselves when the police come to stop them or arrest them.

The following is a testimony about some visiting seed sowers, and their night out witnessing in Colorado Springs last Saturday night.  Maritza met them downtown and this is her account. 

On Saturday night, I met Mary & Nathan Mangusen, Ambassadors from Newport News, VA. We met at downtown Colorado Springs and handed out Million Dollar bills to the partyers. We then planted ourselves across from the Thirsty Parrot on the corner of Colorado and Tejon.We shared witnessing stories and handed tracts to passersby. Mary shared with Layton who is currently working but lives at the City Mission. Layton told Mary that he is a Christian and uses Rick Warren’s Purpose-Driven Life book as a teaching aid for when he reads his Bible. Mary talked to Layton about the Law, true repentance, and living in holiness. As she was talking to Layton, someone threw on object at her that hit her hard on the head. Mary kept talking to Layton as he became quiet and listened to her. Thank God Mary didn’t get hit in the eye or the ear and only ended up with a peanut-sized bump on her head.

Yet she’s another preacher stoned for proclaiming God’s sovereignty.

It is coming.  So many folks are telling me that I should not share the gospel with people.  Most of these folks are within the church.  Many within the church tell me to just “be nice” or “live out your faith”, but PLEASE don’t say anything that may offend.  Well, if you love your neighbor, you will tell them the truth. 

If that is the opinion within the church, imagine what is going on out in the unregenrate world.  Many will try what they can do to supress the gospel preached in the churches and many will censor it in public.  Recent links HERE  HERE  HERE …   Hate legislation is being passed around the world and government is using it to jail people for preaching the truth of the bible.  And, of course, many are being killed around the Islamic world for even mentioning the truth of the gospel.  Sharia law is creeping into countries like England and many others.  Those that consider themselves tolerant and open minded will NOT tolerate the gospel. 

Many in the United States consider the government their religion.  Salvation is through government programs and saviors are the government officials.  Any opposition to this will be violently opposed, and those that preach the truth of the gospel, especially in public, will be punished.  We will be considered …enemies of the state.   A clip on this from Paul Washer….
